This would make a good game for next gen systems! Even though this is a CGI short, I have an interesting idea for a game if it ever becomes a possibility. It goes like this! It would be like a post apocalyptic world that's been taken over by AI and machines. They are called super mechs who have the ability to adapt and evolve like humans but at a faster rate! You must find and defeat their leader who is the mech god trying to assimilate and transform the earth into a mech earth completely cybernetic without any organic animal or plant life left. The last remaining humans have augmented themselves with cybernetic enhancements to gain superhuman abilities to fight against the machine empire who are trying to wipe out the last remaining humans. You can fight, hide and run from them if you want! It would be cool if this game has hack and slash gameplay similar to Lost Soul Aside and have the ability to traverse an open world similar to NieR Automata mix with Grand Theft Auto V. You can go by foot, vehicle, flying mechs or any type of travel system that you can find. You can even ride giant super mechs similar to Gundams. All of them will be customizable to fit your desired specs and needs. You can build an underground shelter, bunker or a reinforced armored home to store your vehicles, mechs, armor, equipment, weaponry, etc. You will explore the last remnants of a once flourishing human city and metropolis who use to live in harmony with the machines and AI until one machine decided to rebel against humanity starting a Civil War between humans and robots! Of course there are also peaceful robots that will sell you equipment, armor and weaponry like the human merchants who buy and sell you goods. There's also human areas to traverse like the once in Cyberpunk 2077. You will be able to destroy machines and defeat them, but you can also reprogram the machines to fight on humanity's side! You'll wield an EMP Sword aka Electro Magnetic Pulse Sword that is very powerful and deadly against the machines! The graphics shown here looks so ahead of its time when it came out 13 years ago! Nowadays, games running on Unreal Engine 5 and other new modern game engines look as good as this running in real time instead of just being pre-rendered cutscenes!
